Blogger Spotlight: Butterflies, Gourds and More

By  |  0 Comments

Seventy-three-year-old blogger Ann Lankford found her passion for blogging after taking a class offered by Indiana Soybean Alliance in 2010.

Others have taken a liking to her blog, as well as her successful gourd-decorating business, Homestead Primitives, which she owns with daughter Debbie Myers in Martinsville. Known as the “gourd gal,” she has been mentioned in several publications including The Herald Times, Lifestyle Magazine and Creative Visions of Morgan County Artists.

On her blog, “Butterflies, Gourds and More,” she shares family stories, recipes, gardening tips, and photos of nature and her day-to-day life. She hopes all of her blog readers enjoy being a part of a simple life and the happenings on and off the farm.

She has been married to her husband, Jim, for more than 30 years, has three children, two grandchildren and as of July, one great-granddaughter.
