Yep, you can create a great looking container garden this summer! If you have ever been stumped on what to plant in your pot or just how to arrange the plant material, join us as Master Gardener Colletta Kosiba explains how and what to plant for a fantastic container this year. As a bonus, view photos of 40 different types of containers already planted Learn plant selection, color considerations and design rules, along with what types of soil to use and how to feed and water the plants for long lasting bloom.

July 23 is “Family Fun Day” Daily Gate Fee of $5 to enter the fair.

The Container gardening Program is free as are other programs such as Creative Cooking and Designs for the home all sponsored by the Extension homemakers given throughout the day.

The container gardening program begins at 9:30 in ”York Automotive Family Exhibit Hall” at the Putman County Fairgrounds in Greencastle.
