The Old Farmer’s Almanac isn’t just for adults anymore. America’s oldest continuously published periodical recently had a baby – The Old Farmer’s Almanac for Kids.

Jam-packed with jokes, fun facts, and stories and activities related to nature, pets, farming, gardening, astronomy, history, sports and health, the 192-page soft-cover book ($9.95) is designed for readers ages 8 and up.

The book’s companion website, www.almanac4kids.com, is updated daily with seasonal information, forecasts and access to a free activity guide.
