Young Farmers Agricultural Achievement Award Winners

For Orville and Jessica Haney, educating the general public about agriculture – from kindergartners to adults – is extremely important. The couple won the 2012 Indiana Farm Bureau Young Farmer Achievement Award, which recognizes young farmers whose management techniques and commitment set a positive example for everyone involved in agriculture production.

The Haneys represent the sixth generation on their family farm, where they raise their three children. The family milks 185 cows and grows corn, hay, wheat, beans and oats on the farm, which is located on the Kosciusko-Fulton county line.
