B. Happy Peanut Butter is more than just a product with a name that makes you smile – it’s a success story of family entrepreneurship. When the chance to use a friend’s commercial kitchen became available in 2013, members of the Weed family took their then-hobby of making peanut butter for family and friends and turned it into a business. Seeing the opportunity to teach their children about entrepreneurship, the family signed up for a spot at the Zionsville Farmers Market that summer. The customer response was enormously positive, and the business snowballed from there. Today, B. Happy Peanut Butter is stocked on shelves across the state and in the Midwest, available for purchase at Target, Kroger, Market District and other specialty stores.

These days, the kids are older and busy with other extracurriculars, but the business is still going strong. The cheerful brand offers unique texture and flavor combinations, such as white chocolate and pretzels; milk chocolate and toffee; dark chocolate, coconut and almonds; and snickerdoodle. The names are equally as festive as the flavor, meant to inspire joy: Dream Big, Don’t Worry, Pay It Forward and Count Your Blessings are prime examples. Encouraging people to spread both joy and peanut butter, the company lives by the motto, “Life is short, B. Happy.”

Was not aware of B.Happy Peanut Butter until I saw the item in My Indiana Home. Would love to see if it is better than my very favorite brand.

Cut an apple in half & schmear it with peanut butter – my favorite snack… or even my breakfast! Sometimes I up it with a drizzle of honey or a sprinkle of cinnamon 🙂

I love peanut butter, especially with celery or pretzels. I’ve never tried a flavored peanut butter, so I’m intruigued by the B Happy products.

Oh my goodness! I practically lived on peanut butter during both of my pregnancies. I haven’t seen this in Southern Indiana stores, so looks like I need a road trip to find this peanut butter! Perfect packaging…flavors sound too tempting to ignore. Hello! On my way! 🙂
