If the past few years have taught us anything, it’s that farmers and others in the ag industry are true heroes. Their hard work results in the food on our plates, and for that, we are grateful. So, let’s channel that gratitude as we encounter our friendly farmers on the road, especially when they’re driving slow-moving farm vehicles. Yes, it might be momentarily frustrating to go slower than you’d like – but by staying patient, you’re ensuring that all parties remain safe.

Consider taking alternate routes during harvest season, and always look for oncoming traffic before passing a farm vehicle. Most drivers will do their best to get over so you can pass them as they are able.
