Bass Farms, inspired by owner Jana Bass’ 4-H roots, offers made-in-Indiana goat’s milk skin-care products, all with a mission to give back.
Growing up in Johnson County 4-H Youth Development, Bass learned the value of farm animals at a young age. As a child visiting the Indiana State Fair and admiring the sheep, Bass’ mother, a lifelong 4-H director, explained to her the byproduct of wool is skin-softening lanolin. Years later, this information would lead to her successful skin-care company.

When Bass’ kids began showing goats for 4-H, she became determined to create something from the goat milk. She started with soap, then lotion, offering these products at the farmers market in Shelbyville, and Bass Farms was born.
The signature product, Triple B Hydrating Cream, has only 11 ingredients and is perfect for any irritated skin condition and can be used for anyone from babies to adults.
The company focuses on keeping its prices affordable for consumers while also giving back as much as possible. They have donated more than $95,000 to the annual Giving Gig, the Indianapolis-based Community Health Network Foundation Oncology Patient Assistance Fund.
