Once harvested, cure the garlic by placing the whole plant on a screen or hang to air dry in a warm place out of direct sunlight.
Curing brings out the distinct flavors of assorted garlic cultivators.
A mixture of crushed garlic and water spritzed on leaves and blooms in the rose garden is a great deterrent for aphids and plant lice.
