Dig into a slice of family tradition from Rolling Pin Bakehouse, where delicious made-in-Indiana pies take center stage.

Owner Natalie Warner grew up in a family of pie bakers and started baking on her own in her middle school years. Her great-grandmother had a successful pie shop in Bippus more than 50 years ago, and Warner decided to carry on the tradition.

Warner opened the roadside stand on a gravel country road near Roanoke selling pies, pie mixes, cinnamon rolls and other tasty treats, as well as selling at farmers markets. Her mother also opened her own roadside stand, The Pie Lady on 5, located on State Road 5 in South Whitley.

The No. 1 seller at each stand is the sugar cream pie (they use a secret family recipe created by Warner’s mother). People journey from near and far to pick up a delicious pie at one of the stands.

From cherry and peach to pecan and pumpkin, Rolling Pin Bakehouse has the perfect pie flavor for every season and occasion. You can also buy their mixes to whip up a “homemade” pie of your own.
