Bee Great in Churubusco, Indiana, is your one-stop shop for all things honeybees. Owned and operated by the Mullins family, the company began as a small hobby with just two backyard beehives in 2018. Since then, it has grown into a 150-hive operation selling a whopping 12 tons of honey annually.
The family also runs the Bee Great Marketplace storefront at 107 McCoy Drive in Churubusco, where they sell their premium, award-winning honey in addition to artisan beeswax skin care products, beeswax candles, honey sticks, gourmet treats, bee pollen and an assortment of beekeeping supplies. They even offer beginner and intermediate beekeeping classes and a Beekeeping Service Program that allows customers to have honeybee hives on their property without needing to manage the bees themselves.
Learn more about the business, find honey recipes, and purchase their honey and other products online at beegreatlocal.com, or call 260-229-8356 for more information. In addition to the online shop and retail storefront, about 40 local grocery stores and specialty shops across northeast Indiana carry Bee Great honey.
