Jefferson County Farm Bureau
The county Farm Bureau hosted local education meetings, worked with school board members and placed ads to defeat the Madison Schools building project and referendum. Those efforts paid off: 77 percent of voters agreed. Throughout the campaign, the Farm Bureau supported better schools for the community, but demanded more fiscal responsibility.
