In Indiana, opportunity often starts the same way many lasting things do – with small, steady steps taken over time. Whether it’s tending a garden, building a home or raising a family, those early efforts create something meaningful down the road.
The same is true when it comes to preparing for a child’s future.
Indiana529 offers families a simple, flexible way to begin saving for education and career pathways, helping turn today’s small decisions into tomorrow’s opportunities.

For many families, getting started is the hardest part. It can feel like something you need to have fully figured out before you begin. But in reality, it’s the act of starting that matters most.
With Indiana529, you can open an account in minutes and begin with as little as $10. Contributions can grow over time, at a pace that fits your family’s life. That flexibility makes it possible for families across Indiana to build a plan that works, whether you’re just getting started or continuing something you’ve already begun.

Today’s children are growing up with more possibilities than ever before. Some may choose a traditional college path, while others may pursue trade schools, credentials or apprenticeships. Each path holds value, and each one represents an opportunity.
Indiana529 is designed to support all of them, helping families keep those doors open as their children grow and their interests take shape.

Planning ahead also comes with practical benefits. Indiana families may be eligible to receive up to $1,500/year*, helping savings go even further while reinforcing the value of starting early.

Planning for the future isn’t about having every answer. It’s about creating opportunity and giving your child the
freedom to explore, grow, and choose their own path when the time comes.
And like so many things in life, it begins with a simple step forward.
