Learn about Indiana’s limestone heritage during the 10th annual Limestone Month celebrations in Bloomington throughout the month of June. A variety of events, tours and exhibits are scheduled all month long, so there’s lots of chances to be a part of the fun.

Experience the sculpting of limestone at the Indiana Limestone Symposium, or learn about the historic Empire Hole, which is the source of the stone used to build the Empire State Building in New York City. There will also be stone carving exhibits and demonstrations, BBQ in the quarry and more!
