To go or not to go? That is the question. Though missing this fun annual arts festival would be a tragedy in itself.
Held at the McDaniel Studio Theatre of the Earlham College Center for the Visual and Performing Arts, this year’s Richmond Shakespeare Festival celebrates the famous works of William Shakespeare with several rotating performances of A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Titus Andronicus. While keeping with the traditions of Shakespeare’s plays, the performances are designed and directed to be fresh and relevant for today’s audiences. The festival also includes interesting displays, food, and Shakespeare-era entertainers such as jugglers and fools.
This year’s festival takes place June 12-18. For more information, visit richmondshakespearefestival.org.
