Remembering an Indiana Farmer

Blackford County Farm Bureau held a special meeting for elected officials on Sept. 11. The highlight of the evening was a special presentation from Sen. Joe Donnelly to the family of longtime Blackford County farmer and Indiana political figure Wayne Townsend, who passed away in July. Reading from a document that has been submitted to the Federal Register, Donnelly recited a long list of the many personal and public accomplishments of the former state legislator and Purdue University trustee.
