Canning for a Good Cause
The Greene County Farm Bureau was asked to donate a decorated Christmas tree for the local Shawnee Theatre’s silent auction. The creative group built a tree using canned vegetables and fruits, and topped it with a pineapple. The tree was sold for $200 to benefit the theatre. It also raised awareness of Indiana farm-raised foods and the Greene County Farm Bureau.
