Indiana Grown, the statewide branding initiative created by the Indiana State Department of Agriculture in 2012, now has more than 1,900 members.
Included in that membership are farmers, brewers, bakers, artisans and small-scale processors, as well as business partners such as Indiana Farm Bureau, which has been a partner since the program began.

Members use the Indiana Grown logo on their products, allowing consumers to identify products grown or produced in Indiana. But in addition to the branding program, Indiana Grown has created a range of programs, all designed to help farmers connect to consumers and consumers to connect to farmers in different ways.
- The “Buy Indiana Grown Shop Local” map, an interactive map that brings together farmers and producers throughout the state who sell their products online, at farmers markets, through CSAs and more.
- The Shop Indiana Grown online marketplace, which launched in December 2020. To consumers, it provides easy access to many different, locally produced items, including honey, textiles, snacks, soap, sauces, candles, meat and dog treats, among others. To Indiana Grown members, the free service provides an additional sales outlet during a time when online retail is critical to the success of many farms and businesses.
- Maps, trails and guides to introduce consumers to the various segments of agriculture that are represented within the Indiana Grown membership. These maps allow Hoosiers to experience local products ranging from wine to winter farmers markets to freezer beef.
- Farm to School, a program in which Indiana Grown works to increase schools’ access to fresh local food.
