Indiana Bacon Festival Offers Sizzling Summer Fun
This summer, the Indiana Bacon Festival returns for a fun-filled day of bacon, bands and brews. Visit downtown Delphi on Saturday, Aug. 27, from 3 to 11 p.m. to join in the festivities, which include live music, a backyard barbecue cook-off and food vendors, a bacon-eating contest, a family fun zone, a Brew Garden featuring Indiana beer and wine vendors, and much more.
Bacon lovers will also get the chance to sample a wide variety of foods that prove everything’s better with bacon – from barbecue bacon pizza to bacon mac and cheese, bacon tacos and maple bacon bourbon cupcakes. In fact, every food vendor is required to have bacon in three out of four food items sold. And don’t forget to take home a package of bacon from Indiana Kitchen at the end of the day.
Festival wristbands, including admission to all live music shows, are $10 for adults and $2 for children ages 2 to 10. Children under 2 enter free. For more information or to purchase festival wristbands, visit indianabaconfestival.com.
