U.S. Holocaust Museum — Flickr user artstuffmatters

The United States Holocaust Museum: Dedicated as the country’s official memorial to the Holocaust, the Washington, D.C. museum opened in 1993. Its exterior, designed by Jewish German-born architect James Ingo Freed, was constructed from Indiana limestone.
