Benton County
Giving members access to one of their state legislators was the primary purpose of Benton County’s legislative “Forum with Sen. Rick Niemeyer.” The event earned the county a 2015 Impact Award in the category of “issue engagement.”
“Our objective for this meeting was to give our board and members a relaxed venue for access to Sen. Rick Niemeyer to hear his views on activities at the Statehouse and share our agricultural concerns,” the county representative wrote.
