Few traditions bring Hoosiers together quite like the Indiana State Fair. For generations, families have made the annual trip to Indianapolis to celebrate agriculture, enjoy great food, reconnect with friends and create memories that last long after summer ends.

This year, the Indiana State Fair is stepping up to the plate with a celebration of baseball and the important role it plays in communities across Indiana. In partnership with the Indianapolis Indians, the 2026 fair will highlight the values shared by both baseball and agriculture: hard work, teamwork, tradition and community.
While the theme may be baseball, the heart of the fair remains agriculture. Fairgoers can meet Indiana farmers, learn where their food comes from, explore livestock barns, and experience the dedication of Indiana’s youth through 4-H exhibits and competitions. It is a unique opportunity to connect with the people and industries that help feed and sustain our state.

Of course, no visit to the fair would be complete without enjoying some of Indiana’s favorite foods. From longtime classics to new creations featured in the Taste of the Fair presented by Pepsi, there is something for every appetite and plenty of opportunities to discover a new favorite.
Visitors can also experience VHS Rewind, an exhibit celebrating the movies, music and pop culture moments that defined a generation, alongside family-friendly entertainment, exhibits and attractions throughout the fairgrounds.
